Biography

I was born in Patna, India and emigrated to the United  Kingdom when I was four. I grew up in the North West of England and studied Medicine at the University of Liverpool. I moved to London to undertake surgical training. I have been working as an NHS consultant since 2013 and have worked for West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust as a consultant in Emergency and Vascular Surgery since 2015. My clinical and  research interests include limb salvage and surgical education and training.

My daily practice coincided with my appointment as a consultant and I have studied widely with some excellent teachers. Over the last few years I have refined my personal practice substantially.

Although I teach a secular approach, my techniques have a distinctly Vedic influence. Wherever one may learn meditation or whichever technique is used, the experience can be customised to individual needs. However, I have found this approach particularly useful for greater stillness and deeper meditative states.

I have found my daily practice of meditation has transformed my life, and to teach it is a passion of mine. If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to contact me.
